
Requirements
Your profile.
- Degree in electrical engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, ideally specialising in high-current technology
- Sound knowledge of metal processing (e.g. copper, aluminium, alloys)
- Experience in working with simulation software
- Knowledge of the design of high-current electrical connections (e.g. for control cabinets, energy technology, e-mobility)

Tasks
Your area of responsibility.
- Development, design and optimisation of high-current components in metallic applications (e.g. busbars, contacts, connecting elements)
- Carrying out thermal and electrical simulations (e.g. FEM, CFD) for the design of high-current systems
- Selection of suitable metals and alloys, taking into account electrical, mechanical and thermal properties
- Supporting product development from the concept phase through to series production
- Co-operation with production, quality assurance, customers and suppliers
- Analysing and evaluating cases of damage and weak points in operation
- Preparation of technical documentation, specifications and test specifications
