Requirements
Your profile.
- Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering/energy technology
- If possible, comprehensive knowledge in the field of power distribution/high-current technology
- Knowledge of short-circuit calculations & busbar systems including knowledge of the necessary standards
- Knowledge in the creation, calculation and dimensioning of power transmission components/systems in the LV range
- Knowledge of the design of high-current electrical connections (e.g. for control cabinets, energy technology, e-mobility)
- Knowledge of metal processing, preferably non-ferrous metals
Knowledge

- Independent and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and technical understanding
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
Tasks
Your area of responsibility.
- Development, design and optimisation of high-current components
- Technical customer advice and application in relation to our standard products and customised special solutions
- Preparation of preliminary calculations derived from this
- Supporting product development from the concept phase through to series production
- Liaising with production, quality assurance, customers and suppliers
- Analysing and evaluating cases of damage and weak points in operation
- Preparation of technical documentation, specifications and test specifications
- If required, visiting customers at home and abroad and attending trade fairs
